History: Tobie Roos-Garcia shares a common story with many former executives now “stay at home parents”. Tobie was the Vice- President and CFO to her family bustling company for 5 years, making almost six figures in annual income. But when it came time to being a Mom she relived her memories of being in daycare or even a “latch key kid” with her younger brother because her Mom had to work. With the birth of her first child in 2002, Tobie realized part-time parenthood did not make sense. With the support of her family, Tobie stepped down from her full-time executive position, reduced her hours with COTC and become a full-time stay at home Mom. Starting ADVM 24dvd gave her the best of both worlds. Now Tobie raises her children as an executive of hopefully another bustling business. Tobie’s Mom and Step-Dad, Karen and Tom Renz, continue to successfully own and operate COTC Technologies since 1998.
